Memorials and Tribute Gifts
You can make a donation in memory of a loved one or celebrate a special occasion. Please indicate the name of the person you designate for your tribute gift and the address where we may send a notification.
Endowment Funds
An endowment gift today provides a brighter picture for our future. When you add to an existing or create a new named endowment fund within the Advancement Foundation, you give a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits because donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs in parishes, schools and other ministries you designate. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support.
Planned Gifts
One of the greatest contributions you can make to the mission of the Church is to leave your own Legacy of Faith for future generations. Designate a Catholic parish, school or ministry as a beneficiary of your will, trust, retirement account or insurance policy. You will become a member of our Legacy Society when you include us in your estate plans. To learn more, click here.
Special Collections
Throughout the year, parishes throughout the Diocese of Fort Worth take up special collections to support the work of Christ in our Diocese, in the United States and throughout the world. Please give generously when these collections are announced in your parish. To learn more, click here.
Real Estate
Want to make a gift to the Catholic Church without touching your bank account? Consider a donation of real estate, such as a personal residence, vacation home, commercial property or undeveloped land. Gifts of appreciated property held longer than one year qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction and may minimize or eliminate capital gains tax. Plus, you no longer have to deal with the maintenance, property taxes or insurance for the properties you donate. An added benefit is that you do not have to sell the real estate. You may deed the property directly to the Advancement Foundation or ask your attorney to add a few sentences in your will or trust agreement. For more information, click here.
Mineral Interests
A gift of mineral rights, whether an entire or undivided fractional interest, can significantly impact a parish, school, ministry or the Diocese of Fort Worth and provide tax benefits for you. These interests may be given outright during your lifetime or through your estate. The Advancement Foundation is fully staffed to manage oil and gas assets in-house to help you achieve your charitable goals. To get started please call 817-533-7242 or email us at plannedgiving@adv-fdn.org.
Vehicle Donations
The Advancement Foundation accepts donations of working or nonworking cars (RVs, motorcycles, golf carts, heavy equipment, trailers, vans, boats, etc.) to benefit your parish, Catholic school, a ministry, the Annual Diocesan Appeal or any other purpose in the Diocese of Fort Worth. More information is available at https://bit.ly/catholiccardonate. When you set up your donation, please contact or call 817-533-3174 to let her know which parish, school or ministry you want to benefit from your donation.
