Start an Endowment Fund
The Advancement Foundation holds almost 200 different funds to benefit parishes, schools, cemeteries, seminarians, ministries, Catholic organizations and other purposes throughout the Diocese of Fort Worth.
To establish a new fund, please answer the questions below and our team will follow up with you to finalize the agreement. New funds may be opened with a minimum opening deposit of $10,000 and may be named in honor or memory of a family member, beloved priest or other person. Investment of the fund shall be in the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth Advancement Foundation. The Board of Directors and the Investment Committee of the Advancement Foundation shall be responsible for establishing the investment policies and guidelines. Distribution of the income from the endowment may be made quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Because the charitable purpose for which an endowment is established may require regular annual support and may need to know what it can expect for budget purposes, an endowment fund may annually distribute earnings according to the Total Return Policy of the Advancement Foundation (currently not more than 5% of the fair market value of the investment assets as of the end of the twelve most recent calendar quarters). Performance on each fund is updated monthly and reported to the beneficiary parishes, schools and Catholic organizations by the Advancement Foundation.
